A Santa Barbara native, Viviana Gonzalez attended Harding Elementary School, La Cumbre Jr. High, San Marcos High School and SBCC. With her vast medical background and experience Viviana joined our family in 2006 as the school’s Health Assistant.

She and her family have seen this school evolve from the one classroom with 18 kids to what it has become now. “Being bilingual is a privilege”.  She is very proud to be able to have both of her children attend César Chávez Charter School. 

Some of her interests include spending time with her husband Juve and her two daughters Chantal & Isabel.  Soccer takes over their lives 10 out of the 12 months of the year, which they absolutely enjoy and cherish.  Spending time at the beach (almost every weekend during summer!), camping, and just hanging out with family are also a few other things she loves to do.
