Michael Macioce was born in New York, and has lived in California since 1993. He graduated with a Master's in Education from UCSC in 2002 and taught first grade at a dual immersion school for two years in Watsonville. Mr. Macioce began teaching at César Chávez Charter School in 2004. He currently lives in Carpinteria with his wife and two children. In addition to bilingual education, his interests include gardening, photography, and computers.
