"I believe creativity is a birthright.  We are all artists and as such naturally possess the ability to tap into our individual imaginative process.  Art in our lives, in any form, is vital for each of us in order to nuture our innate creative yearning."

She is a U.C.S.B. graduate and has a Master's degree in Psychology.  She obtained her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and C.L.A.D. Certificate from Chapman University.  Kathi got the courage to take her first art class with her then 3 year old eldest daughter.  Since then she hasn't been able to stop creating.  She has completed art coursework at U.C.S.B., Santa Barbara City College, in Mexico, Italy and with individual artists in their studios throughout California.

"I am passionate about encouraging a love and zest for all art, cultures, languages, and music.              Children's artwork is the universal symbol for beauty, sincerity, and inspiration."
