Marie-Christine Kannoglou obtained her first teaching credential in France where she taught for 11 years. She moved to Los Angeles where she taught in a bilingual school (English/French) for 3 years. She got her California Multiple Subjects Teaching credentials with BCLAD bilingual certification (Spanish), the CA Single subject Teaching credentials (French) and a MA in Education from Antioch University.
She began teaching at CCCS in 2001, making her the senior teacher on staff. She is involved with several educational organizations in town. She enjoys teaching Kindergarten and supporting new colleagues.
During vacations and spare time, she loves to travel, visit family and friends, read, listen to music, exercise, and cook. Her favorite books are about, Education, Art, Anthropology, Ethnology, Ancient Civilizations, Geography, Nature, and Murder Mystery. She is passionate about equity and social justice.
